About Máni

Máni est l’évolution d’un premier projet né en 2021 : floVer boy. À l’époque, la marque s’articulait déjà autour de t-shirts sérigraphiés à la main, avec l’envie de créer des pièces personnelles, sensibles et faites avec intention.

Le nom floVer boy venait de la rencontre entre « lover » et « flower ». Né le jour de la Saint-Valentin, l’idée était d’y glisser une touche d'amour tout en l’associant aux fleurs, trop souvent rattachées à la féminité, d’où le « boy ».

Aujourd’hui, la marque devient Máni, un nom directement lié à mon identité puisque mon prénom est Enok Máni. En islandais, Máni désigne la lune, un symbole auquel je me suis toujours senti particulièrement attaché.

Máni is the evolution of a first project born in 2021: floVer boy. Back then, the brand was already built around hand screen-printed t-shirts, with the desire to create personal, sensitive pieces made with intention.

The name floVer boy came from the meeting of “lover” and “flower”. Born on Valentine’s Day, the idea was to slip in a touch of love while pairing it with flowers, too often tied to femininity, hence the “boy”.

Today the brand becomes Máni, a name directly linked to my identity, since my first name is Enok Máni. In Icelandic, Máni means the moon, a symbol I have always felt particularly attached to.
